Can you give me
an estimate over the phone?
It is impossible to determine over the phone how much a repair will cost.
There are so many variables which determine cost and repair time including
size, depth, sharpness, and location (to access the dent). The best thing
is to make an appointment for a free estimate. However, here are a few guidelines
to help you out:
Pricing guidelines:
Our minimum repair cost is $65.00 (easily accessible, dime to nickel size
dent without creasing. Depth and sharpness needs to be considered.)
Multi-dent discounts apply to multiple dents on the
same panel. (Usually $15-$25 per additional dime to nickle size dent on
the same panel.)
A large dent with sharp creasing and or hard to access
areas can run up to $475.00. This is typically our maximum charge for
one dent. If the damage should exceed that price, we suggest you take
it to a conventional body shop. (Replacement/repainting) Click here to

What exactly
is Paintless Dent Repair?
Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) is the result of extensive development, innovation,
and continuing research into the repair of vehicles without using fillers
and without damaging the existing paint. These techniques have proven
to be highly successful in removing minor dents and door dings and repairing
hail-damaged vehicles.
Paintless dent repair is more than a learned skill;
it is an art and craft. Our training philosophy is a simple, systematic
approach to a standard of excellence consistent with practicing craftsmen.
Performed properly, a PDR repair is environmentally
safe, economically beneficial, improves the vehicle's appearance, preserves
the original paint, and is the affordable option.
Is
this process safe for my paint?
Absolutely! We use no chemicals or extreme temperatures. Since
we don't disturb the integrity of your paint, it is preserved, and you
have a permanent repair! There is no risk of mismatched paint or fading
that could occur through conventional bodywork.
Anatomy
of a Dent
When a dent occurs, the metal is displaced. Most people think of a dent
in terms of flat surface suddenly plunging down, creating an indentation.
This is not the case.
Take for example when something is dropped into water...
it will create a splash. The item dropped takes up space and with force,
displaces the water.
The
same is true with a metal surface. When something forces the metal into
a convent shape, the metal has to go somewhere; causing it to overflow
to the surrounding areas of the dent. In order for a dent to be repaired
correctly, not only does the dent need to be manipulated, but the displaced
area bulging above the flat surface surrounding the dent also needs to
be manipulated. That's why we have special tools that we used not only
remove the dent, but the high spots as well.
Why should I take
my car to DENT CLINIC INC. as opposed to other repair shops?
We have been working in this field for some time, right here in the area,
with thousands of satisfied customers, insurance companies and luxury
automobile dealers. Beware of fly-by-night PDR facilities. If a problem
arises or the work is unsatisfactory, when they are long gone, you will
be left with a big problem. Dent tents and temporary traveling PDR shops
are very common when an area receives significant hail damage. You have
to make an informed decision about who to use. The reality is that there
is no way of knowing how good a company or technician is without doing
a lot of checking. Cracked paint is the biggest risk of using an unknown
shop or technician, a problem that may not be detected until rust occurs.
Will my insurance
accept PDR?
Definitely! Insurance companies see the benefit of repairing hail-damaged
cars the PDR way. There are no complaints of mismatched paint, and when
performed by skilled technicians, there's no evidence remaining of the
damage after repair is completed. The car is restored to its original
condition. Downtime is considerably less, so you get your car back much
sooner. Also, if there are car rental expenses involved these are greatly
reduced. Dent Clinic Inc. is an insurance-preferred repair facility.
What about a warranty?
Dent Clinic Inc. provides a written guarantee. (click here
to see our guarantee) We guarantee our workmanship, and that the paint
will not be harmed. We warrant the repair for as long as you own the vehicle.
This is the longest warranty in the industry.
